The Portfolio Residential Lending division of Luther Burbank Savings lends on single family, condominium and 2-4 unit properties. We offer 3, 5 and 7-year hybrid Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) loans. Most loan decisions are based on the internal guidelines of Luther Burbank Savings, which makes those decisions quicker and more localized.

Cross Collateralization

Use two properties to leverage the loan amount on one loan.

Delayed Purchase

Useful when an applicant has closed a recent transaction using cash or interim financing. The loan is treated as a purchase.

Departing Residence

Rental income may be used to offset the housing expense on the applicant’s current residence.

Non-Permanent Resident Alien

Securing a mortgage loan with a U.S. Social Security Number and acceptable Visa.

Loans are underwritten and closed for the Luther Burbank Savings portfolio. As the investor, we set our own guidelines. We do not have to adhere to third party investor guidelines.
